Grind is a two surface mortar and pestle. When not in use, the pestle rests directly on the smaller diameter of the mortar, a nestled pair on your stove or counter top. The discovery of the second larger diameter will allow for the grinding of bigger matter. With repetitive use over time, the grinding surfaces will develop their own distinctive character and scratches while the exterior maintains a polished stainless veneer.
